Hussmann’s products include refrigerated and non-refrigerated display merchandisers, refrigeration systems, evaporative condensers, heat exchange coils, beverage coolers, walk-in coolers and freezers, and other related products.  To back up its broad product offerings, Hussmann provides installation, service, maintenance and aftermarket parts through its extensive service organization. 

Display merchandisers for supermarkets are a central part of the company’s product line.  Hussmann makes both standard and custom display fixtures for all the perishable departments in a supermarket, including dairy, produce, meat, frozen food, bakery, and specialty departments.  The company also sells an assortment of display cases to convenience stores, specialty shops, restaurants, cafeterias and other food outlets. 

The company manufactures refrigeration systems for its display cases, walk-in coolers, and other applications.  Hussmann refrigeration systems include large parallel racks, smaller Protocol (or “distributed”) systems, conventional condensing units and large refrigeration houses mounted outside or inside the store.

Supporting this stable of industry leading products is a world class service organization with over 50 company owned service branches and over 1,600 company employed technicians in the US and Canada.  These service branches provide design, installation, preventative maintenance, service, and a full range of aftermarket parts.  A nationwide service call center, a centralized data warehouse and hand-held, wireless computers support Hussmann’s well-trained service technicians.  With these data and communications tools, our dispatchers can communicate with technicians in real time to help us address your emergency needs as rapidly as possible, often letting us review service histories and pre-diagnose problems before we arrive.
