Level Two Audits

The Level Two Audit is a comprehensive, diagnostic approach to your existing store footprint. The
goal is to identify energy conservation measures (ECMs) throughout your entire retail space. We start
with a review of your energy consumption over the last several years and end with a detailed Energy
Audit Report that identifies ECMs and other opportunities for improvement. In addition, best
practices are identified to improve the speed, volume or quality of your store operations.

The final Energy Audit Report will include a prioritized list of ECMs around operation and
maintenance recommendations; energy equipment upgrades and replacement opportunities with
projected annual energy savings; and a budgetary cost and payback analysis that include potential
utility incentives or rebates.

Our Level Two Audit process includes a detailed inspection and analysis of your entire store,
including:

  • Exterior-to-interior store transition (parking lot, signage lights, store pressure, door seals)
  • Energy management and information systems
  • Refrigeration systems
  • Refrigerated display cases
  • Walk-in coolers and freezers
  • HVAC systems
  • Store lighting and controls
  • Door heaters, sensors and other miscellaneous energy consumers
