BCH Glass Door Merchandisers
The new BCH Glass Door merchandisers combine a contemporary design, innovative features and state-of-the-art technology for reliable refrigeration performance that helps improve your bottom line.
1 The new BCH merchandisers have been designed with more interior space that increases the total display capacity of each model. The increased capacity reduces operating costs by improving efficiency and merchandising capability.
2 The one-piece door frame has rounded edges with self-closing doors. Two pane, Low E tempered glass doors. The door handle has an ergonomic design with a plastic coating over steel for long lasting durability.
3 Product visibility is enhanced with the choice of either horizontal or vertical T-8 lighting with electronic ballasts. Vertical lighting is standard. The lamps are located inside the swing door. A plastic cover evenly disperses light throughout the display area and easily clips into place. The electronic ballasts are located behind the sign panel on the top of the merchandisers for easy accessibility.
4 A redesigned lighted canopy allows for custom signs and graphics that support your sales promotion programs. The new one-piece lighted sign fills the entire canopy space from edge to edge maximizing the available space for your sales message.
5 The BCH has been designed with many features that improve operational performance and minimize downtime of the merchandiser. Internal wash out drain with an external outlet. Full-length foam ends add structural rigidity. Do not need to unload product display to replace lamps, electronic ballasts and refrigeration cassette system. Airflow intake and discharge is located in front of merchandiser so BCH can be positioned back-to-back or flush against a wall.
6 Standard white painted exterior. Black painted exterior is also available upon request when ordered. Full color graphic panels can be easily applied to the BCH to support your sales promotion efforts.
7 Adjustable 1" plastic levelers that meet NSF guidelines are standard and easily adjustable with minimal tools.
8 White powder-coated adjustable wire upper display shelves are standard. There is an additional product display area available on the bottom solid deck.
9 All BCH merchandisers feature the new proprietary cassette refrigeration system that is only available from Hussmann. This revolutionary refrigeration system makes service and maintenance of the condensing unit quick and easy minimizing service costs and refrigeration down time. It takes less than five minutes to remove and replace the entire refrigeration system and no service call is required. The attractive plastic grill covers the removable refrigeration system and adds a contemporary look to the overall exterior of the merchandisers. The cassette refrigeration system includes the compressor, evaporator condenser and fan motors and operates with a hot gas defrost.

BCH Sliding Door (SD) Models Offer The Best Design In The Industry
The doors are mounted on the exterior so there is no loss in capacity. In addition the SD models have many of the same features as the swing doors: they utilize the same shelves as the swing doors, the bottom grill and top display panel are the same and the bottom grill and top display panel are flush and aligned with the sliding doors. The doors have top mounted rollers and use a heavy counterweight design for easy opening. There is a magnetic gasket seal on sides and a flexible "wipe" gasket on top to improve refrigeration performance within the display zone.
NOTE: For optimum performance, these models are designed for use in air-conditioned stores where temperature and humidity are maintained at 75°F and 55% R.H. Locate case away from direct sunlight, rapid air currents and extreme temperature changes.
