Note for the user in regards to the symbol (blocks in AutoCAD language) files:
1) The files are saved in AutoCAD 2000 file format. Anyone with AutoCAD 2000 or later can use the files.
2) The files are modeled full scale in inches (not metric, mm).
3) The files are grouped as blocks and should be inserted into a layout using the AutoCAD DesignCenter or the AutoCAD Block Tool Palette.
With either the AutoCAD DesignCenter or the AutoCAD Block Tool Palette, the user can insert, as a block, the desired case plan view with or without end(s). Using other methods, the user will insert the case with both ends and all ancillary text contained in the file.
The plan view models contain the case and also both ends (where appropriate). The blocks are: Case, Case+LH End, Case+RH End, and Case+Both Ends. The Cross Section models are also organized as blocks, but for most, there is only one Cross Section block in the file.
4) The files all have a common insertion point or origin, except for islands which are located at the left end centerline.
For the Plan Views, the LH Rear Corner as shown in drawing below.
For the Cross Section Views, the insertion point is the Rear Bottom Corner as shown in the drawing below.

5) The files use layers. The user may mask (or hide) the subsystems not needed. These Layers (and Colors) are as follows:
