Achieve individual and company set revenue & gross profit goals, by selling products to retail food end users (supermarkets, c-stores), Refrigeration Contractors and Equipment resellers (dealers), Direct and through various Channels.  Manage and direct the efforts of the Sales Leaders (Directors and/or Managers) and authorized Commercial Refrigerator Door Independent Sales Reps and Dealers to achieve corporate marketing and sales objectives. Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to achieve increase market share and maximize profitability.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plan to set direction and goals.
  • Lead and manage the efforts and performance of assigned personnel. Develop personnel for future growth.
  • Achieve annual sales and financial objectives.
  • Establish a close working relationship with independent sales reps and dealer organizations. Execute on customer satisfaction improvement strategies.  
  • Manage distribution system, solving specific problems of pricing, customer service, product development, dealer/customer relations and identifying special customer need utilizing assigned resources.
  • Negotiate settlement of customer claims. Develop personal relationships with end user customer to support unit sales effort with assigned major and competitive accounts.
  • Provide counsel to sales staff in major negotiations. Implement product marketing strategy by conducting product promotional programs provided by marketing.
  • Manage team of customer service representatives, inside sales and outside sales personnel.
  • Establish pricing levels for various channels and markets and communicate effectively across said channels and markets. Scope: = <$200m.  
  • Work with new and existing Independent Manufacturer’s Representatives, to sustain and grow customer base.
  • Bring sales support to Hussmann sales teams, service branches and retail independent distributors to achieve AOP outcomes.
  • When required, provides technical training for employee populations at customer sites.
  • Bring value to trade shows and industry associations by participating in committees, networking and developing relationships.
  • Have the working knowledge of the company’s systems, processes and future strategies for customer satisfaction, along with being the liaison to the factory and the sales organization.
  • Creation and implementation of an annual personal development plan that is focused on skill building in the areas of communication, selling, organization & refrigeration.
  • Travels throughout Americas to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders and build relationships, which lead into being their single source supplier.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or Engineering Preferred
  • Must have 10 – 15 years of experience selling refrigeration concepts and solutions.
  • Must have working knowledge and understanding of: duties and functions of national account, territory.
  • Commercial Refrigeration experience in grocery, C-Store or food service-related industry preferred.
  • Relevant experience with heavy equipment sales in a process driven environment preferred.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multi task.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate in both oral and written formats.
  • Deadline and goal driven self-starter who is comfortable in a corporate environment
  • Basic engineering or technical abilities
  • Ability and willingness to travel at least 60%
  • Engineering or Technical Sales experience, a plus
