Responsibilities:
  • Primary plant contact for understanding and documenting engineering BOM or build issues on current product.
  • Work with Engineering and QA manager to identify ways to improve problems related to design and help eliminate roadblocks and bottlenecks.
  • Primary plant contact for documenting and tracking engineering issues through the CN system.
  • Attend meetings to prioritize and track CN closure. Set effectivity for CN implementation and manage disposition of any associated obsolete and slow-moving inventory (OSMI) as needed.
  • Responsible for addressing and closing CNs related to BOM structure and require no engineering changes.
  • Setup pilot runs when necessary.
  • Coordinate scheduling order pull ahead timing with production for training needs.
  • Work with the QA manager to investigate warranty issues.
  • Setup and sequence new parts.
  • Create flow routing for aftermarket parts.
  • Identify high risk production assemblies and supports quality efforts to mitigate risk.
  • Assist quality with training, review and act as SME.
  • Develop build binders and documentation to improve production quality.
  • Strong understanding of product and plant.

Qualifications:
  • Associate two-year degree or higher, or equivalent experience
  • Can read and understand technical drawings, blueprints and part diagrams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, database software such as Oracle, SAP, JDE
  • Strong communication skills, interpersonal and technical
