About the Role:

With a traditional ERP Business Analyst background, this IT Leader manages a team responsible for the oversight of Hussmann's critical application(s) including support and optimization of the core functionality inherent to traditional business lifecycles.

This strategic leader must be business minded with the ability to work productively with decision makers across various Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance and IT disciplines. With best practices in mind, this includes troubleshooting to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions needed to control, report and analyze transactions through the relevant processes. This role will be empowered to share and mentor their expertise with their team, peers and business partners alike.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and measure all activities / people associated with critical application support and optimization
  • Establish, implement and enforce Support and Change Control standards including SLA adherence and performance tracking of application up-time
  • Develop and manage tools and processes to monitor and report real-time status of application availability and performance
  • Develop proactive response and remediation process which includes visible problem resolution status and regular reporting to constituents
  • Lead root cause analyses and process improvement activities
  • Implement structured application management process following ITIL or similar methodology
  • Conduct and maintain Business Impact Analyses (BIA); develop, implement and test disaster recovery plans on systems and processes deemed to be the most critical to the business
  • Responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing outside vendors
  • Expand footprint of Enterprise Applications across all of Hussmann
  • Partner with Business leaders to successfully impact their technology roadmap
  • Define and implement productivity improvements and best practices
  • Create and deliver presentations to mid-senior level management on Support goals and plans, including progress reports
  • Align resources and actions with mission, vision and Hussmann key initiatives
  • Standardize business processes and normalize data
  • Adopt transformation technologies

Formal Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Information Technology, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Business or related area
  • Master's degree preferred
  • PMI or CPIM certified preferred

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Minimum ten (10) years of IT experience or business systems role
  • Minimum ten (10) years of ERP Business Analyst functional experience including at least two (2) full implementation cycle and post-implementation support in a Manufacturing environment
  • Minimum five (5) years of people management or vendor service delivery
  • Minimum three (5) years of strategic engagement of system implementations and/or business transformation
  • ERP application experience in Oracle EBS 11.5.10, Infor XA 9.2.1 or Baan IV is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of project management methodology
  • Proven experience in IT application support, design, development, testing and implementation
  • Knowledge of business theory, business processes, management, budgeting, and business office operations
  • Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problems
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable policies as they relate to IT
  • Proficient PC skills in Office Products; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Project
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to adjust presentation based on the audience
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills

  • Balanced business skills including driving innovation, decision making, presentation skills, process management, project management, time management and prioritization
