RESPONSIBILITIES: •
The QC manager will manage preventive maintenance tasks for federal government facilities.
Oversee the overall implementation of the Quality Control Plan for grocery stores on 69 military bases nationwide.
Prepare the Quality Control Plan on behalf of the contractor and keep documentation of inspection status.
Maintain documentation of inspection of work executed by subcontractors and upload to customer site.
Develop and maintain quality assurance and control reports and distribute to the customer and program manager as needed.
Report findings and recommended plans for corrective action on a quarterly basis to the Contracting Officer.
Oversee the inspection of at least 25% of the stores in each maintenance group quarterly; provide a report of deficiencies and corrections needed to the Program Manager and Contracting Officer; every store within a maintenance group shall be inspected at least once every performance year.
Maintain a subcontractor list for all Program Managers and keep it current; work with area service managers to locate and procure new subcontractors when necessary.
Maintain customer equipment inventory.
Serve as backup for area service managers and perform store visits when needed.
Travel to stores within region as required.
Additional responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Required Level: Associate degree in any technical discipline, business, engineering, quality control, or project management.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: 5 years minimum in quality control inspection on maintenance projects
QUALIFICATIONS:
•' Experience with facility maintenance or repair contracts
•' Effective communication and strong leadership skills
•' Working knowledge of refrigeration and/or knowledge of commercial refrigeration and HVAC preferred.
•' Customer service experience.
•' Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
•' Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
•' Flexibility to work outside of regular working hours.
The salary range of $50,050 - $96,250 is just one component of Hussmann's total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual's knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
