You will participate in design, development, customization and integration efforts of enterprise solutions and applications utilizing web offering tools.  Supporting and developing web applications, mobile applications, and responsibility for documentation/ translation of existing programs.  You will serve as the Web Subject Matter Expert; responsible for ensuring technical specifications fulfill all business requirements while remaining aligned with the company footprint. 

  • Plan, conduct, and coordinate business programming application activities throughout the organization with minimal supervision. Design and deliver business critical Web applications. Establish programming standards and program documentation requirements, as well as reviews current state of system applications and prepare recommendations for system improvements. Monitor design processes and prepares reports on system projects.
  • Designs and develop technical solutions to business requirements and develops components including extensions, views, customizations, modifications, reports, workflow, etc. around Web Applications Responsible and accountable for project delivery including status reporting.
  • Recommend current fixes or alternative solutions in conjunction with Hussmann’s standardized footprint
  • Keep current with the latest technologies to possess full understanding of the impact of the proposed technical solutions on the company.
  • Initiate and engage business customers in new product reviews, tests, and pilots
  • Create detailed technical design elements which align with functional designs \ business requirements
  • Identify solution gaps between business requirements and standard functionality
  • Assist in configuration, setup and test of standard and custom functionality and related tools for Web Applications. This includes standard and custom interfaces to all peripheral applications
  • Develop website code for front end UX pages
  • Document and perform periodic maintenance in accordance with standard business processes


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of applicable experience
  • Minimum three (3) years of development experience with web authoring tools
  • Minimum six (6) years without degree
  • Experience working in content management system environment (CMS): SharePoint, Drupal based systems, etc.
  • Web application development using HTML, Java, JSP, and JavaScript
  • Extensive application support experience
  • Strong understanding of project management methodology


  • Microsoft Certifications are a plus
  • Experience with ASP.NET
  • Experience with multi-tier application architectures (e.g. web services)
  • Experience working with SQL Server or Oracle databases
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint / Cloud Technologies
  • Experience with Virtualization Technologies
  • Android / IOS development experience preferred
  • Stored procedures, triggers, hooks
  • Unix shell scripts
  • Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office products and ticketing system; Remedy
