RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Tracks metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades.
  • Communicates findings and proposals to upper management.
  • Provides thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes.
  • Conducts risk assessments.
  • Assesses compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.
  • Contributes to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot process problems so as to make continuous and permanent improvements.
  • Identify and manage resources to execute areas for improvement in process yield, cost, and product quality.
  • Develop and maintain process related documents.
  • Provide support and guidance to team to meet daily work demands.
  • Identify areas for improvement in process yield, cost, and product quality.
  • Responsible for all aspects of lean deployment and Six Sigma activities.
  • Recommend new ideas and techniques to ensure project success.
  • Perform process design, development, and implementation of capital projects.
  • Work with the Finances, Engineering and commercial team to quote new parts and products.
  • Support the implementation of all engineering and plant strategic initiatives and NPD
  • Recommend and assess technology to improve efficiency and/or safety.
  • Responsible for providing technical support for capital improvement projects, project objectives, scope, value, and timeline, Quotation, Justification.
  • Define and control production process including tooling and equipment.
  • Ensure in compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Interface with production, quality, receiving, inventory and engineering teams daily.
  • Serve as a coach and mentor to other department team members.
  • Assist EHS department in safety program.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in Industrial, Mechanic or Manufacturing engineering
  • Experience with CAD software, Solid Edge, AutoCAD, Microsoft office, Power BI, and ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and capabilities.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
  • Knowledge of standards (ISO 900x).
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus

The annual salary range of $67,760-84,700 is just one component of Hussmann’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, location and union designation. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
