Hussmann Announces Appointment of New eGrocery Leader

Addition accelerates execution of the Hussmann strategy, including an emphasis on the company’s focus on e-commerce solutions for the food retailing industry.

BRIDGETON, MO (USA), March 23, 2021
– Hussmann Corporation, a Panasonic company, has announced the appointment of Dan Sullentrup as a company vice president. In this new role, Sullentrup will have responsibility for Hussmann’s eGrocery solutions strategy.

“Dan’s deep food retailing experience will further enhance our customer focus and accelerate the growth of eGrocery solutions,” said Dave Martin, Hussmann Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer.

Sullentrup, who joined Hussmann in 2001, most recently served as global account manager for the world’s largest retailer.

“Our customers need the best solutions for running an effective e-commerce strategy,” said Sullentrup. “Hussmann’s support in e-commerce is nothing new; however, the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the need for additional solutions to meet this growing industry need.”

Hussmann current’s eGrocery solutions include ways to improve the in-store picking process to address labor concerns, best-in-class order staging equipment to maximize order fulfillment, and pickup and delivery solutions that enable convenience for food shoppers.
